My Faith

Hi, everyone! My name is Hannah, and I am a Christian (duh...lol). I accepted Christ on February 22, 2007, and I have not looked back since then. Sure, it's sometimes been tough for me to keep believing, especially since I used to be an agnostic and because neither of my parents (whom I live with) are Christians, but I keep on believing, because Christ is definitely worth it! Though don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those Bible-thumper types. I prefer to lead people to Christ through my actions instead of through the persistant spouting of Bible verses. I think that Christ would appreciate it a lot more if someone converted because they wanted to, rather than because I had told them to.

My Education

I am currently in college, and am majoring in English. I hope to someday be an editor at a publishing firm. You see, I've always had a passion for words and for using correct spelling and grammar, so I figured that editing would be the perfect job for me.

My Biggest Priorities

Other than Jesus, my friends and my family are my two biggest priorities. I cannot explain how much I love them and how much I thank them for being there for me (and for letting me be there for them). They are truly God's blessings, and I thank Him so much for bringing them into my life (or for bringing me into their life, as is the case with my amazing parents). I wish there were some way that I could repay them all for all they have done for me. Mom, Dad, Ben, Merli, Betsy, Alison, and of course, all of my Fire friends...you all make me, me. I wish you all could realize just how important you all are to me.

My "Furbabies"

And then there are my kitties. Freckles is a 9-year-old calico, and Tigger (also known as Squeaky) is a 1.5-year old gray tabby. One thing you should know about me is that I love animals, and, because of that, my cats are just as important to me as any other member of my family. I love to spend time with them and play with them. It's amazing how they both seem to have such unique personalities. Freckles is a lot like me: she's overweight, lazy, crabby, and wants to be left alone to do her own thing. Squeaky is active, playful, and resents the fact that Freckles usually doesn't want to play with her. I have loved being able to watch both of them grow up before my eyes, and I can't wait to see what the future brings with them.
